WANT POWER in all situations? Pray what the LORD is praying!

I’m serious guys, I’ve been going through such a horrible season that my prayer partners seemed to be holding my head above the toilet (spiritually) for over 8 months, on a daily basis. I just kept “banging my rattle” looking for a way through or a way out. I would even get strategy from the Lord himself, but did I LISTEN?  Most of the time….ok, SOME of the time, but His grace to me was incredible as His patience for me was evident on a daily basis.

And then something happened.

To make a long story short and not so boring, my husband lost his job last year, so financially we were in trouble but this was extremely stressful for him and being the control freak I am, our relationship suffered greatly as I wanted PEACE…UNITY…and to have love flow through my environment. There was none of that.

To make matters more stressful, my daughter and her son moved out and had health issues, then lost work, and I got to worry about them (and as most of you know, she’s been tagged with her 9th disease so i’m on my knees daily for coverage and provision and healing). AND THEN one of my sisters moves in with us and it’s been world war III ever since, with me scraping for any moment of peace that I can get.

The worse things got, the more I dug into my space with the Lord, sought His presence and prayed in the spirit. I was JUST holding on, and I mean just, for the “end” came many times as others around me exploded into tornadoes of stress and turmoil and tantrums.

and THEN it happened; the Lord gave me a revelation. I KNEW that  that He, the Father and the Holy Spirit are working in ALL things, have something for even ME to learn and will not bring me into the next season until that has come to pass, and I knew that praise and thanksgiving was the doorway to His kingdom and to breaktrough, but I was only getting windows and I wanted everything to change NOW.  What I DID NOT KNOW is that that things would change fast if I PRAYED what THEY were praying!

SO I asked. The Lord started giving me words, and the strategy that HE gave seemed weak to me but I thought I would give it a go. I wanted CONVICTION and for Him to bop people over the head and He kept saying “show them mercy and grace”, “pray for WISDOM, UNITY, COMPASSION, MERCY”….WHAT?! REALLY?! I am a warrior and these seemed like the strategies of a PACIFIST! (did I just say that?). They did not seem POWERFUL enough.

But I obeyed. The more I obeyed, the more the Lord would pour out with more things to pray for while I was barely awake most mornings but would come in prayer. I prayed all day, and then I saw it. An attitude shifted, words, actions and then restoration between people, fruit from the heart…it was as if the dead came to life and LIFE kicked into place. I see changes in people I had never seen and I went up to those places where I had been met with confrontation (you know what I’m talking about, don’t you?) and there was no confrontation. There is restoration, hope, peace, unity, and LOVE, MERCY and grace running through my house, and though it’s like newborn that is just starting to thrive and occasionally screams out, this baby is growing and I’m on board to pray it through as the Lord directs.

I’m still praying what the Lord tells me to pray, and I’m making a decision to NEVER pray again with my own wisdom. If you can’t hear His voice, get into His presence daily. Find a small corner and put some worship music on that is soothing and just praise Him, thank Him, tell Him how much you love him and how much you want to hear His voice. Pick up your bible and get into your word and again, ask for the Lord to show up in a way that you know is obviously HIM.

and wait.

and listen.

and wait.

Don’t look to the left or the right. Don’t run to people unless you have one really good prayer partner that you know will get on her/his knees and “stay awake with you in the garden”, who will intercede and go to the throne with you, who won’t offer advice in the flesh but who also waits to hear what GOD says. Stay there until you “receive the blessing”.

May the Lord pour out in great waves of His joy, His love, His mercy, and ROCK YOUR WORLD!

Please feel free to contact me (lhainline2@gmail.com)  if I can help in any way. My door is always open and I will gladly offer an encouraging word in Him. Please take a look at all that is offered on The Healing Source and some of the steps in the First Aid Section may help you gain the deliverance you’re looking for. This site was inspired by the Lord, poured out to me through my time with Him and I take credit for nothing.

It’s hard enough to forgive someone who insulted you or ruined your reputation by slanderous lies, or who was unloving to you, who slighted you, who showed disdain to you when they were supposed to love you…but how do you forgive someone you trusted with your whole heart and soul, like a husband who leaves you for another woman, leaving you with children and a house that is not feeling like home, who stole or shattered every dream you ever had and ripped out your heart and threw it to the wind?

It’s devastating to say the least, and I’m sure you can think of many other situations that are just as devastating, and to FORGIVE just seems like the ultimate insult to our pain and what we’re feeling.

Forgiveness is something you DO.

I had just counseled a woman earlier in the week whose husband left her, and who was tortured with many of the enemy’s lies about not being enough, or that there was something she could have done. She had been in such pain for many months and yet was getting no peace, trying to make sense of something that she had not control over and just DID NOT MAKE SENSE.

DEPRESSION COMES FROM TRYING TO BE…or DO something you cannot be or do.

I liken this stress to the possible stress of a man who is trying to push my house across the yard. I imagine how frustrating it may be to try harder and harder to do something you can’t do and the more you try, the more energy you exert, the more frustrated and hopelessness you would feel, and eventually, the body and mind stress would just be too much.

I had been struggling with some issues in my household that were continued, daily offenses and some things that were just wrong, sinful, unloving, and issues that could cost us greatly like in the way of disobedience and effected finances. I was up and down for many months, forgiving and then taking back my bitterness as I felt helpless and yet controlled, unloved and unable to do anything about the way I was treated and unable to do anything about the catastrophe I foresaw.

Just when I thought I was doing well and pressing into the Lord’s presence and peace more and more, I felt yet tortured, with a running tally of offenses before my eyes night and day, even in my SLEEP the movie kept playing, twirling around like a spinning tornado that would not end.

I finally asked the Lord to take this from me, to give me strategy for what’s going on and how to get free from it. I heard His words to look up  Matthew 18:34, where Jesus is talking about a judge who forgave a debtor a great debt, and then the debtor was out free, another sinned against him and he did not show mercy to the man. The end of that story was the promise was that because he did not show mercy that he was shown, he was “turned over to the jailers to be tortured until he could pay back all he owed”.

In a very real sense, I felt as if I was turned over to the jailer, in bondage and tortured night and day in my unforgivenss. I had to verbally confess my sin of hidden pride and thinking of myself, take back all ground I gave to the enemy and to confess forgiveness for this person.
HOW MANY TIMES?  Well I heard the Lord ask me the next day to look up Matthew 18:22 the next morning; “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times”. It meant that I may have to do those steps of forgiveness daily, hourly, or however many times it took until I could finally walk in freedom and not even PICK UP AN OFFENSE, letting them slide over my head for my “Daddy” to pick up for me.

Trying to heal yourself won’t work. You need to identify and voice your pain and then turn it over to the lord for HIM to heal. But when you cannot lay something down, then you may need to verbally forgive the offender, even if it doesn’t make sense, even if you do not FEEL like doing it, even if forgiving them seems the most offensive thing to your heat that you can do.

GIVE IT UP…before it Kills you.

Alexander Lloyd, author of The Healing Codes writes in his book that as the directors of a cancer clinic, they have not found one case of cancer where the person did not have a root of bitterness and unforgiveness.  I have a very close friend who had cancer who finally realized that there was something that she did not forgive herself for, for MANY years and now believes it finally at her up inside. A cancer cell is a cell with a hard protein shell that the body just struggles to kill, and when even the surgeon general admits that 90% of disease is linked to stress, and if you are so stressed out by some root of bitterness that won’t be resolved, can you imagine how ineffective your immune system would be to heal what it’s supposed to heal?

If you find that you may be struggling with some root of bitterness, either in your distant past or currently, I urge you to get on your knees fast and ask the Lord to take this from you. Follow the steps in the 2-minute cleanse to openly release that and take back ground from the enemy. If you are not sure what you’re feeling but have struggled with DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, SADNESS, or maybe just feeling you DESERVE MORE (like food, companionship, better treatment, to be recognized, etc…) then I would ask you to find quiet time with the Lord and ask Him where that is coming from, if there is some hidden pain or event that triggered hurt or offense. When He reveals that (and HE WILL), then walk through the steps in the 2-minute cleanse to yield that to the Lord and receive healing.

Jesus says if we confess our sins to one another we will be healed. (James 5:6) If you have a “safe place” to share that, please do so as the Lord can be taken at His word. it’s promised.

When you’re stuck in a dark tunnel, run towards the light!

My daughter Samantha had just moved out this past December with her husband, and if any of you know about Sam, then you probably know that she has multiple diseases, just named with her 9th one, but what you may not know is that moving out meant she was no longer covered by the state medical plan, and that I am a worry-wart to the max.

OH, I work and strive daily to lay all I have down at the thrown, at the feet of Jesus and pick up my cross, asking for grace and mercy – and forgiveness – and needing to on a constant basis. So needless to say, I was already struggling with worry when they could not find private insurance because of the non-preexisting condition laws here in CA, and suffice it to say, I was a mess when I heard 2 months later that her husband was laid off.

With other family issues, I had been on my knees for quite some time but this was about all I could handle in the flesh and it kept me actually face down on the ground for some time.

1+1=1 Million!

I had great prayer support and I cried out daily and then I saw the Lord go ahead of her!  I saw people reaching out to my daughter with prospective work, knowing that she knew no one down the mountain where they now live, so surly the Lord must have plans for her that did not include moving back in with us! I started THANKING the Lord for what He was going to do even though I didn’t know what that would be, but I saw a light ahead of them, choosing to focus on the Lord and not give way to doubt and fear.

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8 )

There is always a light to focus on. The Lord always has blessings that have been sent to encourage you no matter how dark that tunnel looks. Look around and see where He has answered prayer already, showing you that He IS with you and that He will provide a way THROUGH the dark places.

“for the LORD will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.” Proverbs 3:26

He has promised He will never leave you or forsake you, and you don’t have to look back as the Israelites did, complaining of this place they were brought to, having to wait to reach the land of milk and honey, just fix your eyes on him and RUN TOWARDS THE LIGHT!

“And the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind.” Isaiah 58:9

One day the Lord said “I have a PLAN! I have a PURPOSE! And I have a WAY [THROUGH]”. I have to keep focused on the fact that He has said “DO NOT BE AFRAID” like 365 times in His word, that’s ONE FOR EACH DAY OF THE YEAR! If He has said do not be afraid, then that means He has a plan and that I would be fearful or full of worry for nothing.

PRAISE HIM and thank Him for what He is doing in your life and for what He is about to do, even if you are in the dark, run towards Him until He opens up a short cut. Don’t go down any mysterious paths that you cannot see His light, keep pressing in, face forward and looking up to Him to see you through to the next step.

bless you,

Lisa Hainline

“Put your boots on”!

…I heard the Lord say. I had a vision of some big furry boots but while I knew that they were furry for comfort, I knew that they were heavy on the bottom, much like the boots astronauts wear while up on the moon, or those deep see divers in the 40’s wore. You get the picture?

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4

I have been going through tremendous adversity, on all sides and from many directions, and the one thing I certainly have not been is patient…or faithful. The attacks and invasions came all at once and did not let up night or day for many months. The Lord kept giving me strategy in prayer and my prayer partners were praying for wisdom and encouragement but that wisdom kept flying out the window as I kept OPENING MY MOUTH, making things worse most of the time…ok, ALL of the time!

I soon came to a point where I realized I had started to build up bitterness and this constant state in my head (and my) of complaining as I desperately tried to struggle to find a way to NOT be in the situation I was in. It had started affecting me physically and down I went.

On my knees I found grace and the Lord’s power and was delivered from much anxiety, fear, bitterness and “Got My Praise On”. While I felt much lighter and some rays of light shined on these adversities, there was still a need to keep intercession over a few more “desperate concerns” but I could see the Lord working, and I could see answered prayer SOMEWHERE…

But my MOUTH!  OMG! Could I ever stop it. I had been directed to say few words…and to make sure they were gentle, and to NOT WORRY (do you know that God’s word says this 365 times?). I was still trying to protect myself, so while I went into repentance and tried to take back ground from self preservation, worry and a spirit of rejection, I found the Lord’s grace again in a NEW strategy.

The strategy to walk in strength and peace was not working so the Lord gave me a word picture for a NEW STRATEGY: heavy boots that I described above. He revealed to me that if I pictured myself in these heavy boots, then I could picture myself in a sort of CONSTRAINT.

So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Deuteronomy 5:32

The benefit was that I could anchor or weigh myself down to God’s word, that in these boots I would not be able to MOVE FAST or abruptly, rushing in where I shouldn’t but be more hesitant and watchful, not stumbling into one trap after another (the trap of my mouth!). He told me once again to watch for the slightest shift of His head, to watch for where He was moving and to not look to the left or the right.

Ask for “STRATEGY”

I could find a ton of scriptures that could give you encouragement in times of trials but the plain truth is that we are all different and what motivates one may not motivate another but the LORD knows what will work. The Lord has been faithful every time when I ask for STRATEGY, and the verses He has been giving me have been running through my head constantly and with HIS revelation and power, ministering directly to me with a one-on-one relationship.

I fail Him all the time and I don’t follow through on some of what He’s directed but He’s been faithful when I am not, given grace out I do not deserve and blessed me beyond measure, willing to keep pouring out as He has more faith in me than I do in Him.

Ask for strategy. Wait upon Him. Surrender in quietness daily and listen for the next move on the chess board of life that He wants to make. If you fail, He will be right there to move you again. Remember that PRAISE is the doorway to the kingdom and His presence and it’s warfare against the enemy and that we enter His gates with thanksgiving. Do these and watch what He will do!

And put your boots on.

In His grace,
Lisa Hainline

Can you love openly and fully, like a child?

Or is your love hindered, reserved, restrained, cautious or hidden?

A seed becomes a brick.

If you’ve ever been wronged, slighted, discounted, belittled, betrayed, cursed or even slighted in some way to where bitterness rose up in your heart, but you didn’t deal with it in the biblical way; to repent and renounce, giving back ground given to the enemy through your anger, anger, sorrow, defensiveness or self-centeredness, you may have a seed of bitterness that has turned into a brick around your heart.

SO many people have “self-talked” their way into holding something against another and then, thinking they are fine and have let it go, forgiven or just forgotten, have in truth, stored a seed that was fed by other slights, that turned enlarged, hardened and made a place in a wall that prevents them from fully loving again.

If your love for another, and expression of it seems waned, weak, disappeared, and not been made deeper, inexpressible, overwhelming and openly visible to others, you may have a wall around your heart that you cannot break down no matter how much you tried.

We were made to love fully and without measure.

We are wonderfully and beautifully made and also made in the image of the almightily Father God who loves with an everlasting love , and we were meant to love the same way.

Since we know that God is a God of law, from the laws of nature to His own laws that He has set for us to live fully in Him, He has set down laws and guidelines to handle everything we encounter.

When we do not heed a guideline that says “do not be angry”, and it starts to seed a self-pity or defiant, defensive mode of conversation in our head, we need to stop and immediately repent of that “agreement with the enemy of our soul” to block the seed and cast it back out of our heart before it becomes embedded.

Searching out seeds and bricks.

We may feel fine but know that our love is hindered in some way, realizing that we do not feel the same about someone or even if we have never felt that full abiding, unconditional love for others or for one special person, we can know that there is a brick in our wall.

If we try to search it out ourselves, the enemy can wreak havoc in our lives and stir up much confusion. Many people go to secular councilors and still find little relief from hidden pain and grief, because man does not have the wisdom of the all-seeing, omnipotent and sovereign Father God who is full of mercy and grace beyond our understanding.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord. – Isaiah 55:8

Work with the Lord to expose the encampments of the enemy!

Ask the Lord Jesus to ferret out what may be a hindrance to loving others as fully as you desire. Ask Him to put his finger on a seed or brick, an offence of bitterness or a hurt that was set into the ground of your heart years ago. Not only can He take that hurt and heal it completely but He DESIRES to take out all bricks in the wall around your heart for those bricks keep you from fully loving HIM in return.

If He brings you an instance of anger, or an offense against another that you held, no matter how small, repent of it and renounce your agreement with the enemy and surrender it to the Lord Jesus (The prayer at the bottom if this page can help you tremendously in this quest if you wish.   Give back “legal ground” you gave the enemy by judging another, feeling sorry for yourself, or raising yourself up against another, and surrender it to His control.

If you have hidden hurts and you’re not sure where they come from but know that something is holding you back, this page of “pain words” and the prayer to walk through them may help you voice what you know is stuffed down deep inside but cannot name.

Get into His Holy Word more and even do a search on all of the truths that speak of His great love for you. Listen to Him daily, emptying out your own racing mind of thoughts to just seek to hear what He has for you. Ask Him; “Lord, do you love me?” or “Lord, what does my heart look like” and wait for an answer.

Holy Spirit is a gentleman and will not crush you so trust His leading and surrender all that He shows you. Ask the Lord for “MORE” when He starts revealing things to you so that you can have total freedom in Christ Jesus and live the full live Father God planned for you since the beginning of time.

The blessing of an open heart.

The more you walk through; repenting and renouncing what is not of God in your heart, the more you will want taken off, the more you will find yourself open to others in immeasurable ways, the more you can care for others no matter how they receive you, and the less your heart will hurt, ache and sting at any slight, offense or betrayal.

You will see others as HE sees them who also may react and offend because of their own hurts and pain and He may then use you to restore and help others heal.

You will also come into the Lord’s love and grace with new understanding, see His heart for you and for others and find a deeper love for Father God that you may not have known possible.  He is your all in all and if He is not your first love, all of this will help you get to a place where you can claim that not only with your head but with your heart.

And remember that we enter His gates with thanksgiving so thank Him for everything that He puts on your heart, praise him with an outpouring beyond what you thought you were capable of. Praise brings breakthrough in all situations.

Be blessed in Him

Vision: A Man, a Cave, and GARBAGE

Barely awake this morning, I started praying and immediately saw a wide cave and a man came to the front, with his hands on the top of it and bending slightly to peek outside as the top was lower than his head. He seemed to be in the mode of protecting it and checking for intruders, not sure if he was ready for a fight, and then I  saw that it was not totally human but more grotesque on one side of his face, and I said “his face…” , and I heard a voice that  said “..from living in the dark”, and I immediately felt sorry for this person as he ran and hid as quickly as he appeared.

I kept staring into the cave as I noticed that the whole floor floor of it was littered with garbage! Repulsed, I noticed that some of it was not even HIS garbage as I thought I saw wrappings from a baby diaper (I KNOW!  weird that I would see that or even SAY it! LOL!) and I then questioned; “WHO would even LIVE LIKE THAT, LORD?!”

“Many”, was the response, and a revelation that many hide and protect their garbage, not wanting to live like that but with it being so familiar to them, that they are afraid that if it was taken away, they would have nothing.

Come out of the Cave!

Much of the world’s ways; it’s wisdom, advice and counseling tells us that we have to work through every piece of garbage we carry or that which has been placed upon us, with many people picking up the garbage pushed onto them by others, not theirs to carry, but the Lord revealed to me that all they have to do is come out and into the light. HE cleans us up.

Take Out The Garbage NOW!

What happens when garbage is left alone and not taken out?

I had a large garbage can just to hold the plastic bags of waste from cleaning up after my dog (following me?). Well, it got to be too heavy for me to drag up to the road so I just kept filling it up and waiting for help to come later. THEN, it SNOWED…yup, filling that thing up with snow, and I then waited for the thaw, got help to get it to the road but it was so waterlogged that the garbage men would not take it! I got a note saying it had to be under 65 lbs for them to take it, so we had to break it down in smaller containers and that took 2 weeks of the foulest odors imaginable by my driveway! When the garbage men finally took it, the _____ had sat in that bin for so long as it permeated the plastic and so cleaning it out several times didn’t even get the smell out and I’m now trying stronger stuff but in the end, the container may be useless.

“Time Heals all Wounds”, she said.

She was in defense of not wanting to take some issues before the Lord, insisting that over time it will all get taken care of. “NO IT DOESN’T!” I protested, “The only thing that time does is give you room to get sick and tired of holding onto that stinking c__p!”

Time just gives you time to try to cover up your garbage, grow numb to it – or numb to others who try to care for it – or to build your wall around the stink in hopes that others do not see it, expose it, or associate you with it and in the end; reject you, abuse you, abandon you or just not want to take your c__p any longer as they are forced to live with it.

The real issue becomes how much are you going to insist on taking with you?  To get free from what’s

He healed them all!

Jesus healed all who came to Him, and left areas unhealed because they would not receive!  The only issue you have in coming out of that cave is how much are you going to insist on taking with you.

There will be grieving at times and mourning of that which you are going to leave behind; hurts from many years ago that you don’t get to keep the bitterness or unforgiveness from, lost dreams, lost loves, and much more, but we do not have to carry it, HE will. We just have to be willing to give it up and not slosh around in it anymore. You have to grieve all of the situations that caused you to hold onto the garbage, so while it may feel painful at times, all you have to do is RECOGNIZE pain or fear and “run to Daddy”.

As you abide in is power and through His love and as He continues to pour out to you more and more, you will claim more and more freedom from the chains that held your heart hostage. it’s time to take back what the enemy stole from you. You were meant to give and receive Love, made in Father God’s image and for His purpose and will, receiving every good thing intended for you.

below are a few articles that may help aid in the process but make a decision today to come on out of the cave and leave the garbage behind. Today is a NEW DAY! Receive TOTAL FREEDOM, not just a sliver, be hungry for ALL of it.

after I put this blog up, I went to take the garbage out, and I have different garbage containers but this new one we inherited from the snow plows, right? well I reach for the handle on the top and it has a huge imprinted phrase on it saying “BORN FREE”. ok…what? what is “born free” doing on my garbage can?!  well immediately i heard the Lord say; “yes, you were born free in ME, now take the garbage out!”  ok, you gotta admit that is funny!

A.C.T.S. – a Prayer Warrior’s Strategy

By special guest blogger, Joe Birdwell

I have not had many prayer requests lately however that does not mean there is no one hurting or in need of comfort, healing, grace, salvation…the list of needs goes on as does the list of praise reports!!

The Lord is constantly moving and wants us to constantly be in a love relationship with Him.  He wants not just us but our friends and family and strangers we meet on the street or in the grocery store.  He wants a relationship with them as well. If they are not picking up the Word or going to church on a regular basis, how do they know how to acheive this?

PRAY, don’t just TELL them that you’ll Pray!

Just as Jesus set an example for us in how to approach the Father we are to set an example for those around us.  How?  When these people come to us with stress of the day or trauma or praise we can lead them in prayer, not just saying “I’ll pray for you”  but actually praying.  God doesn’t require elaborate prayer but sincere heartfelt prayer.  If this is too awkward I have a place to start that a dear teacher of mine taught me.

A.C.T.S. Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving & Supplication…

Once I get to adoring or worshipping Him and I confess my sins I find many things to be thankful for and then of course ask Him for our friends needs and His will in their lives of course.

Isn’t it first instinct when we hear our friends or family in need to want to help or fix it?  We all know we cannot fix everything, and perhaps some of you, like myself, do not have the resources.  I believe God allowed some of my resources to be diminished so that I couldn’t throw money at the problem, or put a patch on it with things, but would only be able to rely on Him and His infinite wisdom and power.

Release Power by Praying on the Spot

I often times feel awkward, my throat gets tight and dry, I have a sort of social anxiety, other times I am so overwhelmed by the spirit that all I can do is cry, so it’s understandable that we sometimes want to save prayer for private time.  I am simply trying to say that when we can pray on the spot, we cannot even imagine how it impacts another.  It takes practice for this to become habit.

Let’s show those around us how to turn and trust in Him as well.  🙂

If you’re not dying, you’re not LIVING.

Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me – Mark 8:34

All of us have heard these scriptures again and again but few of us know what this really looks like…OR the significance of doing such on a daily basis.

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. – Philippians 1:21

Death is scary, painful and something we all avoid but Jesus said (who said) whoever tries to save his life will loose it. Are you living fully for Christ if you’re not dying to something on a daily basis? Does FEAR keep you from facing something the Lord is starting to prick your heart about?

My biggest and daily “dying game” is when I have to repent of “hidden pride” (focus on self) in some fashion, the “what about me?” situation where I “bang my rattle” and almost say in my head how something is not fair, how I didn’t deserve (or DO deserve) this or that, how my feelings were hurt or some other feel-sorry-for-yourself moment like feeling overwhelmed, overloaded, unappreciated, unloved or just pain wanting something to go a certain way that isn’t.

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. – Philippians 4:13

Come die with ME – He says.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit and the blood of Christ Jesus we can do all things, including surrender our pain, opinions, truths, for HIS truths, and finally check to see if, on a daily basis, we are surrendering our life to HIS ways, His opinions, HIS direction, HIS desires, and HIS plan for our life, and for those around us who are ultimately affected as well.

Are you dead yet?

(author unknown)

When you are forgotten, or neglected, or purposely set at naught, and you don’t sting and hurt with the insult or the oversight, but your heart is happy, being counted worthy to suffer for Christ.

When your good is evil spoken of, when your wishes are crossed, your advice disregarded, your opinions ridiculed, and you refuse to let anger rise in your heart, or even defend yourself, but take in all in patient, loving silence.

When you lovingly and patiently bear any disorder, any irregularity, any unpunctuality, or any annoyance; when you stand face-to- face with waste, folly, extravagance, spiritual insensibility-and endure it as Jesus endured.

When you are content with any food, any offering, any climate, any society, any raiment, any interruption by the will of God,

When you never care to refer to yourself in conversation, or to record your

own good works, or itch after commendations, when you can truly love to be unknown.

When you can see your brother prosper and have his needs met and can honestly rejoice with him in spirit and feel no envy, nor question God, while your own needs are far greater and in desperate circumstances.

When you can receive correction and reproof from one of less stature than yourself and can humbly submit inwardly as well as outwardly, finding no rebellion or resentment rising up within your heart.

Are you dead yet?

In these last days, the Spirit would bring us to the cross.

“That I may know Him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.” Phil.3:10

Speak LIFE into all situations – for Breakthrough to come.

What is it about us humans that want someone to understand us, to carry our burdens or share in them, to care for them, that make us run to a human when something goes wrong? Is it pity we want? Do we want to feel important enough to someone else, wanting them to care for us?

Change your attitude to change your situation – or so the world tells us.

I have been going through a lot of numerous trials these past couple years and I have a few close friends who would call me continually and ask me the details of the continuing saga that seemed to stream into my life, most of which to no fault of my own.

I thought that I would find relief in sharing, but it was temporary.  At times I stated that I didn’t want to share but they insisted that it would make me feel better, pursued my refusals until I finally did. I didn’t feel better. I felt worse AND the situations continued to happen.  It seemed like everywhere I looked, a sink hole would open up with no idea how to get through it.

I eventually found myself crying out “I’m SO TIRED” all of the time, hoping to be lifted up and carried, like the good Samaritan lifted the beaten up from the road and carried Him to theInn, but that didn’t happen.

“Cast all your anxieties on Him for He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7)

The Lord’s word shares much about taking our cares, our anxieties to Him but little do we know how to do that, let alone LEAVE them there.

A friend in Christ asked about a situation, she asked, so I told her, and she chastised me for speaking the negative into the air, “where the enemy lives” and knows just where to hit me. I started getting revelation after revelation about my attitude, how focusing on the negative, in worry and strife, held me bondage to the seen conditions and didn’t focus my mind on the Lord, and not only what He had planned for me but what He was already DOING.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”declares the LORD. – Isaiah 55:8

When I claimed I was tired, I truly was beaten down and weak, but no one carried me to theInn, no one prayed for me and I did not “shore myself up” with prayer buddies. The friends who wanted to care for me, who had hearts to care for me, where not prayer warriors, and I felt worse and worse when I shared with them, knowing that they carried my burden but not to the cross but on their backs. I felt as if I became a nuisance and had to turn to the only one who COULD carry my burdens: the Lord.

Do everything without grumbling or arguing,- Philippians 2:14

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. -1 Peter 5:6

The Lord led me one morning to the two scriptures above, speaking one over and over again to me upon waking, and then told me to look up the other and put them together in a “new STRATEGY”.  I saw this as “warfare” and how to move forward into the new season.

A friend had been praying for me and speaking about “passing over”, and I knew I needed that, to PASS OVER into the new, out of these situations but out of my thinking of being a wounded soldier unable to get up, and start to FIGHT.  Another friend who had been praying for me reminded me of the power of God’s word for my health, which was not in good shape, and the Lord reminded me also about His word and the Power of it;

“Is not my word like fire,” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces? – Jeremiah 23:29

So a floodgate has opened, breakthrough, a new season, as I got back into my time with Him, asked the Lord “where Lord” when I picked up my bible, dug into worship time upon waking, listened for that still small voice but with more time devoted only to HIM.

I also have been heeding the warning about what I speak, for I also know that comes out of the heart and speaking negative situations, no matter how true they may be or SEEM, is speaking negative over myself and I need to speak LIFE, POWER and TRUTH over myself, to not look to what is seen but to what is UNSEEN, to the Lord and all of His glory, to all that He is and said He is to us; His attributes, His truth, His blessings, His power, His love for me and His plan.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.- Jeremiah 29:11

And come into agreement with what is yet to come, thanking Him at every turn for what His promises state, speaking life into the negative situations.  Thank the Lord today for what you do not see today but that you know it’s His heart to give, whether it be a right relationship restored,  a right attitude, a right financial situation, any trials that you can see, write them down but do not speak them, and then go one by one and dedicate them out loud over to the Lord Jesus for HIS  control.

Thank Father God that He is working in your life for He has not left your side and He has gone far ahead of you and will work out all things for the glory of those who love him. It’s HIS PROMISE!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a]have been called according to his purpose.- Romans 8:28

“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8 )

“And the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind.” -Isaiah 58:9

“for the LORD will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.” -Proverbs 3:26

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.- Philippians 4:6

“In Due Time…” a miracle promise!

You do not need anyone to teach you!

I heard the words “in due time…” in bed a couple weeks ago upon awaking. We have been going through great trials – still – and so this sounded like a great word of encouragement and I wanted to receive it in it’s fullness. I had resolved during my morning prayers to look up that scripture to find out the rest of it, but like usual, life got in the way and I got distracted with other things.

About a week later as I started to pray upon waking and I heard the voice again say; “in due time…”  and I said “I gotta go look up that scripture to see the REST of it”.

But when I was distracted once again by the demand of others, and then the interjection of physical pain caused me to crash on the couch,  I grabbed my bible and started to praise the Lord and inter into His presence.

Remembering then that I wanted to go to biblegateway.com and look up that scripture, I went into God’s word early so that I could get online.  As I usually do, I hold my bible to my chest and say “where Lord?”, when a  funny thought came to mind of; “wouldn’t it be something if the Lord could share where THIS scripture was?” As I waited to hear an impression of where I should start, I heard the words “1 Peter”…and I said “great, first peter, but where, Lord?” And I heard the number 6…and then nothing.

I usually hear the chapter number, I question it and then the verse number I hear but I heard no verse number. When I don’t hear anything after the chapter, I go to that chapter and think; ok, I’ll look at what I open to, where my eyes gaze. I knew that there were only 5 chapters in 1st peter so I thought 6 must be the verse to SOME chapter, and I thought ok…I’ll look at whatever chapter I open to, and verse 6 to THAT chapter…

And I opened to chapter 5, and verse 6 says;

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.”

AMAZING?!!!  He is ALWAYS willing to encourage us, speak to us, pursue our hearts, if we pursue Him, get into His word, and listen! It makes it much easier to “wait” if it’s the Lord Himself telling you in such a way that brings His intimacy and fellowshop along with it.

Two weeks after I wrote this post, I put my bible to my chest again after devotion and prayer and waiting on Him and said: “Where Lord?”  He told me to look up 1 Cor. 2:10 which speak to what God has revealed through His Holy Spirit who “searches all things, even the deep things of God” and it goes on to speak about who else knows the thoughts of a man expect a man’s spirit and in the same way, that’ s what the Holy Spirit living in us does: reveals so that we can freely understand what God has given us.

SO after I soaked in this for a while, meditated on it and thanked the Lord for it and asked for Him to embed it deeper into my soul, I picked up my bible again, chuckling to myself that I hardly ever go to His word again in one morning asking “Where Lord” but usually just keep reading for myself. This time I heard His voice AGAIN and He said to look up Matthew 4:10 and you will not BELIEVE what it said: “Humble yourselves before the Lord and He will lift you up!”

AMAZING!  Not witchcraft, but but a gift from God, to abide with Him in His secret chamber, for ” the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him. 1 John 2:27

If you’ve not developed a time upon waking (the easiest time for the lord to get at your conscious mind before you take control of it), be sure to go through the 4 steps the Lord revealed to me on how to enter His presence, then do it until He shows up, stay there until you receive “the blessing”, and He will show up!  The more you do it, the more you pursue Him, praise Him as the angels do 24 hours a day, the more you still your mind and listen and step out in faith on what you hear, the more your “spiritual muscle” will grow and you will hear him at a moments notice, more and more.

He longs to fellowship with you, and not just through His word but as a loved one does.  Pursue Him at all costs and set aside time to just be with Him. We are His great love…He should be ours.

In Him
